QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
How long does the process of picking a baby's name take?
The process takes two to three weeks from the 40 minute discussion with you.
What makes you qualified to help me pick my baby's name?
The primary obstacle to selecting a baby name is the breadth of choice. I have the research skills to sift through and crystalize these choices according to the discussed parameters. My vast interest and studies in history will guide my research. I'll uncover names you never considered or possibly never heard of. I also have a love of reading - from Jane Austin to J.K. Rowling. I have no shortage of inspiration. Also, an outside observer can be better equipped to pick names because there is no emotional involvement. My perspective can bring names to light you may not have thought of. Also, I can strike down any names that could be problematic.
What if I don't like your suggestions?
I will make every effort to suggest names that you will like. If you are dissatisfied with my suggestions, you do not need to use them. However, the service I am providing is to make suggestions and I cannot guarantee that every client will like every name.
Can I give input on the process?
Of course! You'll fill out a questionnaire and we'll have a 40 minute meeting via zoom.
How does the process work?
The process begins with a 10 minute consultation, gratis, followed by a 40 minute discussion. From that discussion, I will identify key characteristics of a name you would like. Then I will research a variety of sources, culminating in a beautiful PDF report on three baby name suggestions, their significance, their meaning and why they matter.
